ABOUT DONNA
Donna Dufault has over 20+ years of experience working in the photography industry. She has a BFA degree in Fine Art Photography from Rochester Institute of Technology. She has worked at some of the best photographic printing labs in the country and worked with some of the top art photographers in the world. This experience coupled with years of gallery experience, running art marketing groups, curating shows, and co-coordinating photo workshops has given her a unique perspective into the fine art photography world.
The last 15+ years she has been working as a photographer side by side with her husband, Scott Erb, in their commercial advertising photography business, Erb/Dufault Photography – www.erbphoto.com. Where they specialized in Food and Hospitality Photography.
Both were founding partners in the endeavor, Foodies of New England Magazine, which they started in Oct 2012 with a small group of friends. (now defunct) The magazine was in over 2500+ locations for sale all over New England. They loved being the photographers for Foodies of New England Magazine and they have had many, many culinary adventures. With their speciality being in Food and Hospitality Photography, they continue to travel and photograph amazing foods, chefs, and locations all over the country.
Much of Donna’s work is derived from these adventures and is significantly influenced by the amazing chefs, unique items seen along the way, and places she has visited over the years.
Special Announcement 2023:
After an incredible two decades + of building relationships with amazing local clients, Scott and Donna have decided it’s time to travel the country. So, They recently sold their home and studio and have been embarking on an adventure that could last a year or more!
Yes! They are still doing photography from the road. As well as offering workshops. So
If you know anyone who needs a traveling brand ambassador or looking for headshots or portraits, or maybe you know someone in another city that could be a great connection for them, they kindly ask that you please keep them in mind and introduce them! They appreciate any recommendations.
And please keep your eyes on all their social media channels—always looking to make connections, collaborate and meet new people while out there exploring new places together!
We’ll be doing lots of art work, headshots, product photos, branding photography, food photography, etc.

This is the tiny starfish in my Seaside Finds photo…what tiny, imperfect thing do you treasure most? #tinytinymoments #embracingimperfections #starfish #seasidetreasures
Seaside Finds isn’t just a photograph — it’s a feeling.
This piece was born from a quiet moment by the ocean, where small, imperfect treasures gathered themselves into something beautiful.
At the center, a worn silver spoon cradles a tiny starfish, surrounded by scattered seashells — each one nicked, weathered, shaped by time and tides.
I made this image as a reminder:
Even the smallest things, the imperfect things, have stories worth honoring.
Beauty doesn’t ask for permission. It simply is.
Seaside Finds is for anyone who’s ever needed a gentle nudge to see their own journey this way — vibrant, full of color, shaped by the tides of life, and absolutely worth celebrating.
If it speaks to you, I hope it finds a place in your home where it can quietly remind you:
You are a masterpiece in progress, and every “imperfection” is part of your wonder.
(Available now in the shop — link in bio! Or let’s chat about it- set up a discovery call with me!)

Reviewing old prints and new one- trying some black and white variations- I’m not sure I like the black and white ones… I love color so much… thoughts? Feelings? Sometimes I love the tones of b&w- but usually in other people’s work. If I’ve never seen the color version. Does color make you feel? Does B&w? #blackandwhite #colorphotos #contemplating

This photo was taken a few days ago by Scotty. I kept showing him cool rocks I found along the shore. My constant peppering of “oooo look at this one!!” Made him bring his camera up. I didn’t even know he’d taken this… #caughtupinnature #rockhoundingoregoncoast #prettyrocks #gatheringinspiration

There are some books you don’t just read — you feel them.
One of those for me is Signs of Life by Olivia Parker.
It’s a book that constantly reminds me why I love photography — and the quiet poetry that objects can hold when seen through a different lens.
Her work has been a deep inspiration in my own journey — and honestly, it still stops me in my tracks every time I revisit it.
If you’ve never seen it, I can’t recommend it enough.
It’s magic. Pure and simple.
