Amethyst

Amethyst features a beautifully tarnished spoon surrounded by vibrant purple, green, and yellow poinsettia leaves, arranged on a blue cyanotype created by artist Sara Lyons. The spoon’s richly weathered surface plays against the bold colors of the leaves and the deep blue photographic background, bringing together a striking mix of color, texture, and timeworn beauty.

Part of Donna Dufault’s Worn Spoon Project, a collection celebrating the beauty of objects shaped by time, use, and the stories they carry.
